The EVO IX has been launched in Japan and Mitsubishi has used its years of World Rally Championship success to create what will surely be the greatest Evolution of them all.
The EVO IX is available in 3 versions:Mitsubishi Japan has taken the already fantastic Evo VIII and improved each area. The new IX features Mitsubishi advanced MIVEC variable valve system that allows a greater spread of power across the rev range. Like our Japanese Subaru range all our Mitsubishi EVO IX imports come remapped for UK fuel and emissions. This means we can fine tune each car to give even more power. Our Evo IX models are all sold with 320bhp as standard.
Mitsubishi have also worked hard on improving the aerodynamics of the IX with a more agreesive front bumper, roof profile and rear bumper diffuser.
Control of all this power is handled by the massive Brembo brakes which feature an advance ABS and Electronic Brake Distribution systems (EBD).
The GT models feature a motorsport Turbo, lighter weight (GT 1,390kg vs GSR 1410kg), 5-speed gearbox.
