New MY07 Type-25 has arrived

After over a year of development the new Type-25 is here! We hope to have full details and information listed on our revised website during next week and this will be updated further over the next few weeks with more images and videos.

Since the launch of the Type-25 in early 2004 its’ success and critical acclaim has been fantastic but we have not stopped there. Constant development has been going on in the background as we look to give a fresh faced Type-25 improved overall performance. The appeal of the Type-25 is how it feels as a complete package so gaining an overall improvement was going to need to a more holistic approach with each part coming under scrutiny.

With this in mind we have created the new Type-25.

Having sold a number of versions over the last few years we have got a real understanding for what a Type-25 customer wants and expects. We therefore now offer the Type-25 in two distinct versions; standard and Spec C. Both feature the same drivetrain and chassis setup but offer a different emphasis.

The Standard road version of the Type-25 is based on the new Japanese A-Line STI which is a more subtle and luxurious version of the standard STI.

This car features:

The original Type-25 was delivered to many customers with the smaller WRX spoiler and anthracite alloy wheels so this new version should suit most of the new owners.

The Spec C versions is designed for the customer that wants the ultimate point to point weapon.

The Spec C features:

Coupled with this motorsport derived version the Type-25 gives outstanding performance both on the road and track.

The production prototype was really well received by Evo Magazine who will be featuring it in next month’s issue. Orders are already being taken and we expect this new version to be an even bigger success than the last model. Suspension fine tuning and final tyre choice is currently being undertaken with the Type-25 using the renowned Millbrook test facility and the might Nurburgring over the next couple of weeks.

We have a demonstrator available for test drives and would advice booking early as we expect it to be very busy over the coming months.

Time Attack Championship leaders

After 3 of the 5 race series we are leading the Time Attack series with 25points. If we can secure a winning margin of over 3 points this weekend the championship will be won. The next round this Sunday at Silverstone sees improvements made to our Type-25 race car. Now the road car development has finished we have taken the opportunity to change some of the engine setup. Attention has been centred on improving breathing and engine cooling. The race car now sports Cosworth high performance Cams which have improved the engines power delivery and rev range. These improvements should really help on Silverstone’s high speed straights.

Tuner GP 2006

After last years superb success (Class winners and fastest Japanese car) we are looking to do just as well at this year’s event on Sunday the 27th of August. The venue has moved to Snetterton which should prove an interesting challenge with the UK’s fastest straight. We hope to have a number of cars competing in the day long event.

Should be another couple of busy weekends!
