New Civic Type-R colour range announced.

Launched in May 2007 the Honda Civic Type-R has been a massive success with customers and critics alike. From the 4th of September we will be able to order this amazing car in 2 new colour options.

Honda has stopped production of both Silver and Blue Metallic paint and replaced them with Black and Purple Metallic.

We hope to see high resolution photographs soon of these new colours but we expect them to prove even more popular.

Subaru Impreza S-GT helps makes performance motoring affordable.

The superb Impreza S-GT is even more affordable than ever, having been on sale in Japan for over a year now the Japanese market is starting to show some fantastic used car buys.

The 260bhp (310bhp in current Sports model) 2.0 Twinscroll engine is not only extremely powerful but it’s unique “Eco Mode” also allows drivers to achieve over 34mpg. It’s low CO2 rating of just 219g/km means it’s on the lower band F tax bracket which makes the current Road tax £215.

We have 2 used models in stock from £17,995 On The Road saving £2,000 on the New price. Both of these cars have just 1,000miles on the clock and represent superb value. The S-GT has been a real sales success in Japan so if you don’t fancy the colours we already have it will be easy to order your preferred colour.

Despite its Green credentials the performance side of the car has not been forgotten with a revised Sport model due soon. Our Silver S-GT demonstrator will feature this new performance pack by the end of the month.

Mazda MX-5 gets Milltek power increase

We have been working on the current generation Mazda MX-5 for over 18months and have a number of exciting products about to hit the market.

The first item available is the new exhaust system developed with Milltek Sport. When fitted to Litchfield’s JDM 2.0 MX-5 development car the exhaust systems free flowing design increased power from the factory 158bhp to 173bhp. Torque also improves across the whole rev range and peaks at 149lbft vs 139lbft of the standard car. The engine now feels livelier and responsive, coupled with the new exhaust note the MX-5 now has the power and sound to thrill the enthusiasts.

2008 Subaru STI Type-20

We expect to have the new Type-20 finished and ready for test drives in late August. Our new modifications are working extremely well. This car is designed to bring the very best from Subaru’s amazing 2.0litre Twinscroll engine. The inclusion of our new Twinscroll Turbo design and new intake and Milltek exhaust system has provided a massive increase in power whilst maintaining the 2.0 engine’s throttle response, reliability and Economy.

The standard STI’s handling has also been significantly improved with revised suspension, bushes and steering setup. Full details will be unveiled soon.
