As the UK's leading independent Import specialist, Litchfield Imports was invited to sample the new Impreza STI and Nissan GTR at the world launch in Japan. We were also able to get a closer look at Mitsubishi's new Evo X and the stunning Lexus LF-F.

Nurburgring Trip 2007
Early November saw us attend the RMA 2 day Nurburgring track day in our Honda Civic Type-R. The trip was both for fun and further development work on the Hondas new AST suspension with Curtis Woodman for AST UK.
The car was simply sensational and despite driving it since early June it is still a revelation. More information can be found on our Honda website pages.
Whilst at the Nurburgring we spoke with some very nice people from STI Japan who were putting the new MY08 Impreza STI through its paces. This car had some interesting features that will no doubt make it onto future models.
Honda Civic Type-R in Evo magazine's Car of the Year 2007-11-21
Our Honda Civic Type-R demonstrator equipped with its AST suspension was invited along to Evo Magazine’s prestigious Car Of The Year feature. This is the 5th consecutive year that Litchfield Imports have been asked to supply a car and demonstrates the commitment and enthusiasm we have for our performance cars. The Honda Type-R did exceptionally well and received very positive comments:

AST Honda Civic Type-R adjustable suspension kit now in stock
After months of testing we are proud to announce that our (FD2) Honda Civic Type-R suspension kit is now available. The new AST Sportline suspension system developed for Litchfield imports road going models is designed to allow the driver to easily adjust his Civic Type-R from road or track setup. The new suspension package will be a £1,000 upgrade on cars that we supply or can be retrofitted to other FD2 Civic Type-R’s for £1,434 Including VAT and installation.
The new AST dampers are 12-way adjustable so it can quickly be changed to suit the individual driver and road or track environment. For more information on the Civic Type-R AST suspension package see our website PDF or call for further details.
Japanese Performance Magazine 2007 Awards
Once again Litchfield Imports products have won Japanese Performance magazine awards.
Our Litchfield Type-25 won Subaru of the year for the 2nd year running and after driving our Honda Civic Type-R demonstrator it was voted Japanese car of the year!

We have fully updated our Subaru STI pages with lots of information about this exciting new model including its Japanese launch and our first drive in Tokyo. Our first development car arrives shortly and we will be taking test drive bookings soon.

The next issue of Evo magazine should have a special feature of the incredible RA-R. Arguably the best factory Impreza so far and the last special edition from STI. Evo chose a fitting venue by taking it over to the Rally Ireland where they had a fantastic time.
The first of the new Nissan GTRs have started appearing in the Japanese Auction system with the first cars selling for £17,000 over their original list price!
