We have owned all versions of the Subaru Impreza STI hatch in both UK and Japanese specifications.
Development of our performance kits has been on going with Litchfield owning a number of demonstrators and test vehicles since the cars launch in late 2007 to present day to insure our customers receive the very best upgrade solutions available.

Our Hatch STI's have been critically acclaimed by the Media and have been tested on most circuits including and numerous trips to the world famous Nurburgring.

We also use these Subarus as our day to day transport so our products are also proven and refined in real world environment where they will spend most of their time.
We worked closely with Milltek Sport to produce a 3" High performance exhaust for the UK and European STI Hatch Back range. This genuine 3" Turbo back system features 3 silencers, a 100cell Motorsport Catalytic convertor and stylish quad tail pipes. Not only is this system environmentally friendly it also helps release extra performance from the 2.5 engine whilst keeping a subtle but purposeful exhaust note. The exhaust system can also be specified without the Catalytic convertor to reduce the cost (off road use only).
As with all our Milltek systems it is made in the UK with the highest quality aircraft-grade stainless steel and manufactured to tight ISO 9001 quality controlled standards. The new exhaust also offers a substantial weight saving over original system.
Using the latest Ecutek software called RACEROM (which we helped develop) the engine management system can be recalibrated to take full advantage of the exhaust systems free flowing design increases power from the standard 296bhp to around 345bhp. Torque also improves significantly with changes to the variable exhaust timing and improved turbo response allowing the STI to generate over 350lbft from as little as 3,500rpm. This gives fantastic throttle response and overtaking power.
As part of our standard RACEROM remap we offer full Map Switching and Per Gear Boost Control using the Si-Drive for improved fuel economy and in-gear performance. The reprogramming of the ECU is also based on the latest Subaru calibration revision to insure the upmost reliability is retained.
The addition of our new 73mm Cold Air induction kit increase power even further with the engine revving more freely at higher rpm. Removing this restriction also gives a sporty intake noise on boost and improves the throttle response even further.
